Ice Skating Private Lessons
Group Mites and Squirts skating skills classes taught by Proedge Power skating coach Becky

Currently held at Richfield arena on Wednesdays 7:15-8pm year round
Cost $35 per class payable to me, open skate fee is $4 payable to arena

Beginning in August--Mites will be 6:30-7:15pm
                          --Squirts will be 7:15-8pm

Currently there are just 2-3 kids attending these semi-private lessons and gear is optional but I strongly suggest all skaters wear helmets and dress warmly.  No sticks and pucks allowed on these open skate sessions.

These classes are very skill specific and there is no standing around waiting in lines.  I work them really hard so bring a water bottle too!

Most of my private hockey students are elite level players for their age. They play for teams like AAA Reebok Nats, MN Made super leagues 1 and 2, MN Made Machine team, Team Walser, other AAA teams and for associations all over the Twin Cities.  My current students drive from Hastings, Woodbury, Edina, Champlin, Maple Grove, Eagan, Rosemount, St. Paul, West St. Paul and more to work with me.

My figure skating students are currently very active in competing and testing both in USFSA and ISI curriculums.  One of my former students is the USFSA national champion in adult mens freestyle and another is a USFSA national competitor in Ice Dance.  Currently I coach all ages in many different figure skating disciplines.  I also do team coaching with Linda Pazlar whose sister is the famous Diane Ness!

In addition my partner coach Dave offers kids stickhandling lessons for hockey on rink rat and proedge ice sessions at Wakota arena or in Eagan on his private synthetic ice area.

What: private skating (for figure skaters, beginners and hockey players) lessons Cost: Becky is $30 and Dave is $20 per 30 minute lesson fee paid by cash or check to us---public skate fee is additional $2-4 paid to arena, for additional siblings in a semi-private lesson it's only an additional $10 per each skater per lesson.  Small group lessons are discounted $10 the regular price.

Improve your hockey, figure skating or just learn the basics. These lessons are especially popular with hockey players right now looking to get customized feedback on skating skills. Private skating lessons teach skating specifics that go beyond what you learn in a traditional hockey camp setting. Get detailed corrections and improve your efficiency, power and balance on the ice.
